Madison Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group (MMSDG)

Email list:  The MMSDG maintains an email list of local mass spectrometrists and sends out advertisements for all upcoming events with this list.  We promote any local seminars with a mass spectrometry component with this list.  If your organization is sponsoring a mass spec or mass spec related seminar, let us know, and we will notify our email list members.  To get on the list send your name and email address to vestling@chem.wisc.edu.

Driving Directions:  Directions from Dane County Airport to the Chemistry Department, UW-Madison

The Chemistry Department occupies 75% of the block bounded on the 
north by University Avenue, the east by Mills Street, the south by Johnson Street, 
and the west by Charter Street.

Leave the airport, and turn left onto Packers Avenue.
Stay on Packers Avenue as it turns briefly into Pennsylvania Avenue 
then East Johnson Street. When given a choice, choose Gorham Street. 
Gorham Street turns into University Avenue.  Go past Park Street and 
find the Chemistry Department at University Avenue and Mills Street.

Directions to the Biotech Center, UW-Madison from University Avenue and Park Street:

Turn onto University Avenue. It is a one-way street going west.
Stay on University past Mills Street and Charter Street (stop lights).
Just before Randall Avenue (also a stop light), turn right into parking area 20.
Parking area 20 is just behind the Biotechnology Center. 
It is open to the public after five.Park on the second level. 
Most other UW parking lots require UW permits until 10 pm.
The Biotechnology Center's front door is on Henry Mall.
