The Waters Acquity LCMS is a sophisticated liquid chromatograph (UHPLC) with two detectors:
diode array detector and a single quadrupole mass spectrometer.
It routinely uses C18, 2.1 × 50 mm, 1.7 um columns to achieve fast separations (5 min) at high pressures. The computer controller is not
in this picture.
